The Indonesia Spirit and Wine Association (ISWA) is a member of the Asia Pacific International Spirit and Wine Alliance (APISWA). Our members are a committed group of major global spirits and wines producers with operation in diverse business models across Indonesia.
Illicit & Unrecorded Trade
Illicit and unrecorded alcohol poses significant threats to consumer health & safety, government revenues and the business reputations of legitimate producers.
ISWA works closely with government stakeholders in raising community awareness on the dangers of illicit alcohol, and advocating the adoption of non-discriminatory, evidence-based tax and regulatory measures to curb illicit and unrecorded alcohol distribution.
Responsibility
ISWA members work closely in partnership with government stakeholders, NGOs and industry players to tackle the negative effects of the harmful consumption of alcohol.
ISWA’s initiatives and outreach programs are designed to tackle issues such as drink driving behavior, prevent underage access to alcohol, and enhance awareness of the dangers associated with binge drinking.
Hospitality & Tourism
ISWA wines & spirits companies contribute to Indonesia’s vibrant hospitality & tourism ecosystem. Our members support a favourable business environment towards wines & spirits and remain ready to support government objectives.
Sustainability
ISWA members are deeply committed to incorporating sustainable practices into their individual businesses and actively work towards fulfilling the UN Sustainable Development Goals within their responsibility policies.
eCommerce Standards
As e-commerce continues to accelerate, ISWA wholeheartedly endorses industry endeavors to implement and strengthen measures aimed at preventing the sale and access of alcohol to minors and individuals engaging in harmful drinking. ISWA’s member companies are in alignment with the global e-commerce standards established by IARD and are committed to responsible marketing practices.
